GRAC Ethics Committee
📘 About the Committee
The GRAC: GLOBAL RIGHTS ACTION Ethics Committee is an autonomous, independent, and impartial body established on 1 January 2025 to evaluate, approve, and monitor all scientific, academic, or humanitarian research involving human participants under GRAC’s institutional umbrella.
Its primary purpose is to safeguard the dignity, rights, privacy, and well-being of participants, ensuring all research meets the highest ethical and legal standards.
📜 Ethical Framework
The GRAC Ethics Committee adheres to the following international frameworks:
Declaration of Helsinki (World Medical Association)
Belmont Report (USA, 1979)
Privacy Act 2020 (New Zealand)
It also upholds GRAC’s core values: honesty, humanity, and humility.
🧩 What research does the committee review?
This committee reviews research that:
Is conducted by GRAC members or affiliates.
Has official support or endorsement from GRAC.
Aims to be published in GRAC reports, academic journals, or official platforms.
