Meet Our International Executive Director
Alfredo José López Severiche is a highly accomplished academic, social advocate, and professional leader dedicated to advancing human rights, sustainable development, and humanitarian aid. As the founder and International Executive Director of Global Rights Action (GRAC), Alfredo has built an exceptional career in research, strategic advisory, and the implementation of social projects, leaving a significant impact on vulnerable communities worldwide.

Alfredo holds an impressive academic background, blending expertise in social sciences, international development, and technology:
PhD in Social Sciences and Public Policy – Auckland University of Technology (2022). His research focused on the quality of life of Latin American migrants and refugees in New Zealand, resulting in five international publications presented in Curaçao, Colombia, Mexico, Canada, and France.
Master’s in International Development – Massey University (2020).
Master’s in International Communication with First-Class Honours – Unitec Institute of Technology (2018).
Graduate Diploma in Advanced Computer Science – New Zealand (2015).

Alfredo has excelled in various leadership roles across academic, social, and political sectors:
International Executive Director and Founder of GRAC (2024-present). He leads GRAC’s global strategy with the goal of positioning it as an NGO with a presence in over 50 countries by 2040. Under his leadership, GRAC focuses on projects related to human rights, education, sustainability, and humanitarian crises.
Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Latin American Studies (2022-2024) – Pan-American University, Mexico. Conducted research on the impact of COVID-19 on the quality of life of Latin Americans in New Zealand.
Senior Advisor, Love for Progress Foundation (2023-present). Designed and implemented projects for immigrants, refugees, and indigenous communities in Colombia.
Advisor and Tutor for UN Women, Ecuador (2021-2022). Supported unemployed youth in integrating into the labor market through the “My Future is Today” project.

Andrea Jordan- Treasurer and Vice President
An expert in business administration, accounting, and finance, Andrea has dedicated her career to supporting vulnerable communities, especially women in difficult circumstances. Her empathy and experience allow her to manage GRAC’s resources sensitively and with a commitment to those the organisation aims to assist.
Mabel López Severiche - President of Fundación GRAC in Colombia
Mabel has a background in systems studies and is a certified technologist in computerized English. She has experience in humanitarian assistance and is a passionate leader dedicated to sustainable development and the promotion of human rights. As President and Legal Representative of the GRAC Foundation in Colombia, Mabel leads the foundation’s vision and strategy, ensuring transparent and effective execution of its activities. Her ability to work in teams and establish strategic relationships drives GRAC’s mission in Colombia, facilitating the implementation of projects that positively impact communities.
